Located in Huaxin Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai West Suburb International Agricultural Products Trading Center is a modern and comprehensive agricultural products central wholesale market in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta, one of the major projects of Shanghai in 2009-2012 and 2017, and one of the first pilot units of the national public welfare agricultural products market.
The Shanghai Western Suburb International Agricultural Products Trading Center and the first phase of its renovation and expansion project mainly revolve around the first phase of the park. The first phase of the park base extends to Huaxu Road in the east, Hualong Road in the south, and is adjacent to the entrance and exit of S26 Shanghai Changzhou Expressway. The base is surrounded by natural river channels on the south, east, and west sides, and is adjacent to the second phase of the park land across the river on the west side. The land for this project is approximately 363 meters long from north to south and 538 meters wide from east to west, covering a total area of 173184 square meters (approximately 259.8 acres). The total construction area is 106746 square meters, including 31948 square meters underground and 74798 square meters above ground.
The main form of steel structure in this project is a steel frame structure composed of steel columns and beams. The steel frame is divided into three areas: A, B, and C, with a total steel consumption of approximately 23000 tons. The building has one underground floor and four above ground floors. The basement floor elevation is -6.51m, the structural roof elevation is 23.22m (there is no structural roof in Zone B), and the local cabin surface elevation is 28.2m.
Our company has been undertaking non-destructive testing of steel structures and raw material testing for the first phase of the renovation and expansion of the Shanghai Western Suburb International Agricultural Products Trading Center since 2018.
